Bendigo Art Society Inc. is a group of people involved in all facets of the visual arts who meet regularly for mutual support, to share information, further skills, enjoy artistic activities and to promote local art.
In pursuit of achieving these goals, the group: Meets at the Mandurang Hall, Cnr Sedgewick and Nankervis Rds, Mandurang on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, starting 930am. Regularly hosts guest speakers and conducts art appraisal days. Holds Annual Art Exhibitions providing opportunities for members to display and sell work. Helps new members and encourages young artists. Conducts one- and two-day workshops with special guest artists; seminars and art tours. Holds monthly paint outs at advertised locations, and monthly life drawing sessions.
