Dale retired after a long career in Local Government as a Civil Engineer and Building Surveyor, and now enjoys relaxing with his art, particularly, pencil sketching, pen & wash and watercolor painting. 

Trained in technical drawing with quick instructional sketches for onsite workmen, Dale’s style tends towards architectural drafting and realism, however, he admires the work of non-representational painters and would like to develop a much looser style with greater emphasis on light and colour.
